iCloud on iPhone 8
Review
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, launched in 2017, were incremental updates to Apple’s smartphone lineup. While they retained the familiar design with Home buttons, they brought some notable improvements.
Both devices featured the A11 Bionic chip, ensuring snappy performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The iPhone 8 had a single 12MP camera, while the Plus variant boasted a dual-camera setup with enhanced photography capabilities, including Portrait mode.
One of the most significant additions was wireless charging, a first for iPhones. The glass back allowed for this feature and gave the phones a sleek appearance. They also retained the Touch ID fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
Despite not having the edge-to-edge display or Face ID found in newer models, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus provided a dependable iPhone experience with the added convenience of wireless charging. These devices catered to users who preferred the classic iPhone design and were looking for reliable performance.
