iPhone X iCloud bypass methods

Switch off the lock

The easiest way to remove the Activation Lock is to switch off Find My on your iPhone X.

1. On your iPhone X, tap Settings.
   
2. Tap [Your Name].
   
3. Tap Find My.
4. To turn it off, toggle Find My iPhone (if the toggle is green it is turned on).
   
5. When asked for your Apple ID password, enter your password. If you can’t remember your password, see How to reset your Apple ID password if you forget it.
   
6. Find My and the lock will be turned off when you provide the correct password.

Disable via the web

If your iPhone X is offline or is not in your possession you can still turn off the lock.

1. On a web browser on your computer or a friend’s device go to appleid.apple.com.
2. When prompted, sign in with your Apple ID and password.
   
3. Select Devices.
   
4. Choose your iPhone X.
5. Scroll down, then click Remove from account.
   

Your iPhone X will no longer be associated with your Apple ID. This will turn off the lock on your device.

1. Go to DirectUnlocks.
2. Click Unlock iCloud on the menu.
3. In the box, type in your iPhone X IMEI number. You can find the IMEI on your phone’s SIM tray.

1. Download the app and install it on your computer.
2. Connect the computer to your iPhone X.
3. Run to app and follow the jailbreak process.
4. Once your iPhone X is jailbroken, run the unlock app.

Via DNS

The DNS method switches your iPhone X from Apple’s DNS servers to get around the Activation Lock.

Part 1: Reset Your iPhone

1. Turn off your iPhone X
2. Open iTunes, or Finder on your computer and connect the iPhone X using a USB cable.
   
3. When you connect the device, the Apple logo will appear on your phone, screen.
4. Press and hold the volume down and power button at the same time for about 10 seconds.
   
5. Release the power button but keep pressing the volume down button. After 30 seconds the computer will recognize the iPhone and an on-screen message will appear. You can now release the volume button.
6. In iTunes or Finder, Select Restore.
7. If required, the latest iOS software will be downloaded and installed on your iPhone X.
8. The iPhone will restart and the setup process will begin on the iPhone.

Part 2: Change DNS Server Address

1. Select your language and country from the iPhone X setup screen.
2. Select Set Up Manually and then connect to your Wi-Fi.
3. Press Return on your keypad and go back to the Wi-Fi screen.
4. Long press the power button, and when the menu comes up, select Wi-Fi Settings.
5. Next, click i (symbol) > Configure DNS > Manual > Add Server.
6. Select the DNS server closest to your current location:
   • USA: 104.154.51.7
   • Europe: 104.155.28.90
   • Asia: 104.155.220.58
   • Rest of the world: 78.100.17.60
7. At the top right, Tap Save.
8. Return to the Wi-Fi screen and select Next.

Part 3: Bypassing

1. On the Activation Lock screen, type your iPhone’s IMEI in the Apple ID field.
2. In the password field, type in 15 zeros.
3. Click Next.
4. You will get a message saying Incorrect Apple ID or Password.
5. Repeat steps 1-3 until the message no longer appears.
6. Let the iPhone load. It may take a while.
7. Once loaded, you will see a Data & Privacy screen. This means you have bypassed the activation lock.
8. Proceed to set up your iPhone normally.
